About me: My name is Raye Lynn McCabe (she/her) and am originally from Northern Arizona and the Dine’ Nation. I have a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Arizona State University and a master of science in education degree in educational leadership from the University of Kansas. I was a high school math teacher for 19 years and a high school principal for six years.

Favorite thing about Bend: I love the smell of pine trees, walking by the Deshutes river and all the outdoor trails. I also love the variety of food trucks and being with my family.

Favorite thing about Campus: The modern buildings, the location and the graduate programs. Also, the students, staff and faculty are so friendly and helpful.
