Campus Visit Guidelines

Register for your own guided tour, given by one of our student TOUR Ambassadors. We’ll show you around our beautiful campus with the added bonus of having a student share their personal stories and information about Oregon State. You’ll be able to ask questions to TOUR Ambassadors as they guide you throughout campus. Please note there are certain expectations that all students, staff and guests are asked to observe:
    • Visit reservations are required. Visit sizes are strictly limited to ensure physical distancing in presentation rooms and on campus tours. Please register in advance for your campus visit to guarantee your spot. We cannot accommodate day-of walk-ins. Thank you for understanding!
    • The Welcome Center operations are contingent upon local and state COVID-19 levels. As Corvallis moves between different COVID-19 risk levels, we may have to close down or alter our on-campus operations. Should this occur, campus visit registrants will be contacted via email as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding!
    • Please bring and wear a face covering at all times, per university policy. Disposable masks will be provided if you forget yours.
    • Physical distancing of 6 feet between your party and others must be observed throughout your visit on campus.
    • On the campus tour, visitors will be offered an FM headset system to make sure you can hear the entire tour as we observe physical distancing on tours. Our TOUR Ambassadors will have a microphone, and each visitor will have a receiver. We encourage you to bring your own headphones (with 3.5 mm round headphone jack) if you have them, but we have earpieces to loan if you forget. All FM headsets and earpieces are thoroughly sanitized between use.
    • Tour sizes will be limited to ensure the ability to physically distance on tour. During the tour, please keep 6 feet of space between you, other families on the tour, and the TOUR Ambassador.
    • Campus buildings have hand sanitizer stations throughout. Please wash your hands frequently and utilize hand sanitizer during your visit.
    • Public spaces in the Welcome Center (including waiting areas, bathrooms, presentation rooms) will be sanitized multiple times throughout the day in between visitor use.
    • Pay special attention to campus building signage that designate "enter only" and "exit only" doorways. We appreciate your cooperation in using these doors in accordance with the signage.
    • Some buildings on campus may require each person to complete a temperature check prior to entering the building.
What you can experience during your 2-hour campus visit with the Welcome Center:
    • 30-minute admissions information presentation (general overview of application process, dates, deadlines, scholarships/financial aid, etc.)
    • 90-minute campus tour including a residence hall showroom

If you don't see something on this list you were hoping to experience on-campus, you can experience it virtually from home before or after your visit!
